Smithfield Peat has manufactured many varieties of bark mulch (hemlock, cedar, pine) since the early 1970’s. Our careful selection and blending of properly aged raw materials and triple grinding process ensure finely ground bark mulch with consistent texture and color.
Benefits of Using Mulch

How to Use Mulch
- Spread a 2 to 3 inch layer of mulch on the surface of an existing planting bed
- Do not smother shrub and tree trunks or plant and flower stems
- Remove old mulch. Do not allow mulch to accumulate depth over time. Maintain a 2 to 3 inch depth
